The ONI is a computerized assessment that generates a virtual corporate composite of your currrent organizational culture.
It is typically conducted subsequent to a management self-rating and corporate assessment exercise given to upper management.
When the two are placed side by side, it allows the executive team to do a gap analysis and compare what management perceives
to what the workforce actually believes. It is quite an eye opening experience for most companies. The two questions that
scream for answers at this point are:
1. "What does all this mean?"
2. "Where do we go from here?"

Since humans are what create culture, only new human input can change or improve it. The ONI is much like a corporate
composite of a 360 degree feedback report. It is an essential component of any company Strategic Planning & Development
process.
Development Needs Inventory
A companion to the ONI is the DNI: Development Needs Inventory. The DNI is a 360 degree feedback report utilized as an individual
development assessment determined from feedback given by direct reports, peers, and subordinates, and, is based upon the
observations and impact made in the work environment and how such impact affects perceptions and ultimately results. In essence,
it is a way to identifying growth opportunities to improve personal performance leading to an incrrease in organizational
performance.
With the revelation of these opportunities, development programs are suggested to close gaps both on perception as well
as performance potential, and assists the person being assessed to maximize relational as well as functional dynamics within
their work group.
